2017-18 Term 3: Australia & New Zealand
Students arrive in the lively city of Sydney at the height of the southern hemisphere summer, where they will enjoy the classic sights of the Opera House and the harbour on a walking tour.
One of the highlights of this term will be the Whitsunday Coast, where students will take a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
Students will love Brisbane’s mix of arts, culture, and nature. Enjoy classes beside the river and in the beautiful parkland of this lovely city.
Our first destination in New Zealand is Dunedin, on the south island. It is a city well known for its Maori and Scottish history, as well as its bustling student population. Here we will be exposed to the beautiful architecture of the First Church of Otago, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Dunedin Railway Station.
Next we will explore Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Surrounded by mountains, glaciers, and lakes, we will spend our time exploring and immersing ourselves in this invigorating community.
We will end our term in the city of Auckland, where we will hike to the top of a volcano for panoramic city views and visit Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. Before saying our goodbyes, we will enjoy a delicious final banquet.
