About Blyth Academy Global High School
Blyth Academy Global High School offers a safe and structured environment for students to explore life outside their comfort zone and become more aware of their potential, both academically and personally.
Ultimately, Blyth Academy Global High School provides an education of remarkable depth and quality.
We seek to reinvent the “school” experience as we deliver the Ontario curriculum through an experiential blended-learning approach.
Our conscientious and empathetic staff believe passionately in personalized learning and experiential education. They integrate each new environment into the learning process through real-world application of concepts and the use of technology. Our staff demonstrate outstanding leadership in teaching and offer round-the–clock support for our students.
What isn’t different is our academic expectations for our students. Our expectations, such as punctual attendance, the timely completion of assignments and maintaining consistent rigour in assessment, are the same as they would be at all Blyth schools.
Blyth Academy Global High School is also about personal growth and leadership development. Students learn how to live more independently, taking on more responsibility for school work and developing time-management and interpersonal skills. They are given ample opportunity to demonstrate leadership in creating an inclusive, healthy environment for all students.
We are often asked: “What are the benefits of studying in an international environment?” This interesting question reflects the following beliefs:
1. The best way to develop a global mindset is to experience the world first-hand when you are young;
2. Giving yourself time to really explore a country gives you an invaluable perspective on life, especially if you do not have to worry about the logistics of transportation, accommodation and other details.
