Blyth Academy strongly believes in the value of educational travel and the impact it has on students’ academic and professional futures. We believe in making our school accessible to all students and provide scholarship opportunities for students in the Blyth Academy Global High School.
The Blyth Academy Global High School Financial Aid Program is a flexible monetary scholarship that can be applied to payment for one, two, three or all four terms of school. It aims to celebrate and reward student academic achievement and commitment to school life during the past year.
Financial Aid Application Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Be a student between the ages of 15 and 19
Hold a valid passport for the duration of the Blyth Academy Global High School
Be in good academic standing at the time of application and at the time of departure

Short Essay – Please provide a 500 word essay explaining why you would like to study abroad and how you believe you will contribute to your chosen program
Program deposit plus registration fee . Note: If your scholarship application is declined or the financial aid amount is insufficient to allow you to travel with Blyth Academy, you can request, and will receive, a full refund, including the deposit and registration fee.
Most recent report card
One reference letter – a letter from either a teacher or a leader in your community.
Letter of financial need – a personal letter from a parent/guardian outlining your financial need. The parent letter of financial need must be signed by the parent.
T4 – Most recent statements of remuneration for both parents (or legal guardians).
Financial Aid Application Deadlines
Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis on the following application dates:
- Applications received by May 15 for Term 1 and full-year enrollment
- Applications received by August 15 for Term 2 enrollment
- Applications received by November 30 for Term 3 enrollment
- Applications received by February 15 for Term 4 enrollment
Once your application is received by Blyth Academy, you will receive a confirmation email. The application will be assessed based on the student’s financial needs, academic success, community involvement and leadership capabilities.
Decisions will be made available via email after May 20 for Term 1, August 20 for Term 2, November 20 for Term 3 and February 20 for Term 4. Successful applicants will be notified of the amount of scholarship offered, and will have time to reflect and decide if they wish to proceed with an application. Offers of scholarship amount will be sent to the parent and student via email. The parent must accept or decline the offer of scholarship in writing. No student acceptance will be valid. Those receiving scholarships will have until May 31 for Term 1, September 30 for Term 2, November 30 for Term 3 and February 28 for Term 4 to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship offer.
